This bookmark was manufactured in the US by Gorham. It is finished in a gold plate or wash over sterling. It has a cherub and a heart on the top and the blade is inscribed Oct 14 '98. It is marked with the Gorham hallmark, Sterling, B1570M and the year hallmark for 1898.
