This bookmark was made in Italy between 1890 and 1910. It is all hand carved leather and is marked "Made in Italy" on the back. The round medallion on the bottom is a winged lion holding a book which says "PAX TIBI MAR CE" and "EVA NGE ESTA MEUS".
