This bookmark was made in France between 1900 - 1910. It is a replica of Joan of Arc's sword with a very ornate handle and a round medalion on the smaller blade (magnified above). The medalion is a bust of Joan of Arc, the dates 1412 and 1431 and the word "Jenarre". The bookmark is silver plate over brass.
