This bookmark is made in France and is a Stanhope or 'peeper'" bookmark. It is probably silver plate over brass on the fleur de lis on top and brass blades. It was made between 1890 and 1920. If you look through the '"peep hole'" you can see 4 photographs of different scenes with '"A Memory of Peterborough'" in the center. The scenes are: (counter clockwise from the top) '"West Front Peterborough Cathedral'", '"Nave West'", Nave East'", and The Cathedral form the North East'". It also says Made in France."
