This bookmark was made in England in 1936. It was made by Asprey of London for export to the US for Abercrombie and Fitch Co. It is a page holder type of bookmark where the base is cliped over the cover or back of the book and the arm holds the particular page open. The interesting thing to note about this bookmark is that even though the manufacturer is in London, it has a Birmingham city mark.
