It is marked Pat. No. 257529 in the center of the clip. On the bottom of the clip is the manufacturers mark A & Co., Ltd., the lion and the mark for London and the date mark C indicating the year 1938. In the lower right hand corner is marked Asprey London. The arm has the lion and the mark for London and the words "Made in England".
